Generally a portland cement based product which when mixed with water will seek its own level and produce a smooth, level substrate. For very large or very rough areas, self-leveling products are much less labor intensive than trowelable ones. AHF Products makes no specific recommendations for self-leveling underlayments, but these companies do make such products.
